Five hours @ Cosi :) Also, Thursday stuff and knife-resistant clothing.

Y'all post too much. :) (50 new posts in 9 hours, Wednesday evening!)

However, I spent five of those hours, about 1815-2315, at Cosi in Dupont Circle with Cristy, talking about anything and everything, almost certainly annoying our waitress with our ordering delays due to talking instead of deciding. :) (We picked Dupont Circle due to its profusion of restaurants and stuff to do; considered a movie--we both want to see The Incredibles but it wasn't playing at the theater next door; we thought about Kinsey (which was), but ended up talking for five hours instead. =)

On tap for Thursday: Bike to the shop; possibly some work; Voltaire & Ego Likeness @ Alchemy; possibly hanging out w/Cristy before/during Alchemy, if she's done packing for her trip. :)

It's not that I'm not on the ball, it's just that the ball is near the edge.

In order:
1) At home, sifted through my address book to count card recipients.
2) Toys 'R' Us, where they didn't have what I was looking for for my nephew Brendan, but I ran into [livejournal.com profile] blankkittyblack shopping for her kids, and checked out some rather nice photos of her from Alchemy last week.
3) The Post Office next door, where I didn't have the cash I needed for stamps.
4) Wal*Mart next door to that, where they didn't have the toy either, but I got more cards, wrapping paper, and tape, plus cash.
5) Back to the P.O., for a few books of holiday stamps.
6) Back to Toys 'R' Us, where I got a different gift instead.
7) Over to Staples, where I got blank sheets of return address labels, because I don't feel like writing all of those out, plus envelopes, so I can mail in expense reports.

So gifts will be on time, cards will be late. This is not unusual. :) (Two years ago, first time I sent cards, they were late. Last year, I was in Australia, so no one got cards, and family got Christmas in February. :D)

Soon, to Alchemy's Naughty or Nice holiday party, featuring Voltaire and [livejournal.com profile] ego_likeness!
