Of course it's geographically divided, but did you ever wonder just how? Find out!

And, of course, "soda" is the only correct term. ;)

  • Applied for positions at Spherion and Xerox, after sifting through dozens of automatic job search result emails and hundreds of potential positions.
  • Got my new jacket via FedEx, in a remarkably short time.
  • Sent the jacket back out Priority Mail--after discovering that while Motorcycle USA gets great discounts on FedEx shipping, I do not--to exchange a Medium for a Small.
  • Took the suit jacket and pants given to my by my grandmother's boyfriend in for alteration, as he's a bit taller and more than a bit wider than me. :)

I decided that since I was no longer logging into the local server at my frat, I should just log into my local Win2K machine instead. However, I'd never created an account in my name locally, just for the server--which meant I could log in and use the computer normally, regardless of the existence of the server. However, to log in locally, I'd have to either use the default Admin account, or create a new local, which I did. I then had to manually transfer over all files, settings, and shortcuts, and follow that up with a few reinstallations and plenty of "welcome to ______, first-time user!"

Contacted the company from which I bought the motorcycle jacket, after mailing it, to try to make sure they'd have one of the same style/color in a different size when they received my return in a few days.. they said:

I can't guarantee that there will be in a few days. If you want to make sure
you get one what we can do is cross ship it out. Meaning I will send (and
charge) the 2nd jacket now, and then you will receive a refund w/ no restock
fee once the other is returned. That would be my suggestion, please let me
know if you would like to do this. Thanks!

I told him to go ahead.. works for me. :)
(And even if the returned jacket gets lost in the mail, it's insured; and this way, I get the new one sooner.)

I hate it when LJ's acting up and people get "your post didn't go through" errors.. I'm looking at 13 from [livejournal.com profile] blueone, 6 from a [livejournal.com profile] catsgalore member, and 8--make that 10--from a [livejournal.com profile] redheads member; the 3 from [livejournal.com profile] electricsoup already scrolled off. Oh, and 4 more from [livejournal.com profile] blueone.
