I decided that since I was no longer logging into the local server at my frat, I should just log into my local Win2K machine instead. However, I'd never created an account in my name locally, just for the server--which meant I could log in and use the computer normally, regardless of the existence of the server. However, to log in locally, I'd have to either use the default Admin account, or create a new local, which I did. I then had to manually transfer over all files, settings, and shortcuts, and follow that up with a few reinstallations and plenty of "welcome to ______, first-time user!"
