Got this from Tucker:

"Among the many domains registered to "Bell Atlantic Trademark Services LLC": VERIZONSUCKS.COM, VERIZONBLOWS.COM, VERIZONBITES.COM, VERIZONSHITS.COM, VERIZONWIRELESSSUCKS.COM, VERIZONWIRELESSBLOWS.COM, VERIZONWIRELESSBITES.COM, VERIZONWIRELESSBITES.NET, VERIZON-TELEKOM.ORG, etc etc etc... You could almost make a case that they're preventing people from making criticisms, but given Verizon's level of performance its entirely possible these are domains for a soon-to-be-launched new product line."

So I was looking up Plasma Cutters yesterday, and found Torchmate: Plasma Cutter Information & Resource Site, which tells (among other things) how they actually work, and several sample cuts. Including this 18"-long Harley-Davidson logo, cut from 1/4" steel. In eleven minutes.
I want one :)

Hi, Ellen! :) (Californian redhead who stumbled across my journal, no complaints here :)

This here's a riddle I found in her journal, and I've no clue what the answer is:

"There are three words in the English language that end in "gry". ONE is angry and the other is hungry. EveryONE knows what the third ONE means and what it stands for. EveryONE uses them everyday, and if you listened very carefully, I've given you the third word."

Update: That's actually a misstatement of the riddle, and really has no solution as stated. Here's the real version:

"Think of words ending in 'gry'. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is."

If you give up, the answer is here. (Thanks Erin! :)

So today..

Applied in person at Wegs, filled out a new application cuz they didn't know where mine had gone, had a short interview, and should hear from them in a few days for an interview with a dept. head.
And now I have a ham sandwich, OJ, and cinnamon granola bars.
And, though sprinkling, it's a nice 70 degrees out.

Life is good :)
