Movies!

Matt&Steph got the parents a DVD player for Xmas and loaned us a bunch of DVDs..

Watched Romeo Must Die last night, which pretty much rocked (as all Jet Li films seem to do)..

And, just finished Galaxy Quest which, despite looking really stupid from the trailers, was actually a pretty cool movie. Entertaining and reasonably well done. =)

xmas stuff

Went to 7pm xmas services cuz Shauna was singing in 'em. was feeling non-participatory (that whole lack of belief in "Lord As Savior" thing) so I read 18 chapters of Genesis while waiting for services to end. Short service, I was hoping to finish the book. never read much of it before. Good story.

got home, had some 30-proof eggnog (bourbon whiskey, blended whiskey, rum, and brandy :) and Santa Fe pizza while watching Patrick Stewart in A Christmas Carol. Took care of the dogs, now have to wrap presents and get some sleep.
