The moth is some sort of tiger or owlet moth. I don't know for certain, as I'm having to go by text descriptions and none of them seem to exactly match. However, I can tell you that it's a female. You can tell by the threadlike antennae, whereas males have the featherlike kind, to help them pick up on the pheramones the females put off.

The beetle isn't actually a beetle. It's a Cicada nymph.

And I'm not trying to be a know-it-all. It took me quite a while to look all this up, and I still didn't come up with much. :)
